BARNSLEY AND DISTRICT JUNIOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Formed in July of 2015 and about to enter its 3rd season the Barnsley & District Junior Football League is a relatively new league, offering organised and structured junior football for ages 7 to 18.
In our first year, the league had 40 teams from 21 clubs competing, in our second season we have had 89 teams from 26 clubs taking part. Increased participation of both teams and clubs across all the age groups, with numbers nore than doubling for our second season is testament to how much teams have enjoyed participation in the league.
Initial projections for the 2017/2018 season are that the number of participants will again increase, making the league even more competitive. With a 5 year plan and a strong management team in place the Barnsley & District Junior Football League aims to be the best in Yorkshire. The management team are dedicated to ensure the leagues member clubs and teams have plenty of competitive football, with fixtures every week. The league is also dedicated to the development of our member clubs and their coaches.
